HIQA Assessment judgment framework for targeted monitoring against the National Standards for the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections in acute healthcare services during the COVID-19 pandemic - September 2020

In light of the ongoing global pandemic of COVID-19, HIQA has developed a monitoring programme to assess compliance against the National Standards for the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections in acute healthcare services during the COVID-19 pandemic. The national standards provide a framework for service providers to assess and improve the service they provide particularly during an outbreak of infection including COVID-19.
